  1. I think both of these are beautiful, of course. But am especially drawn to the shell: It is a lovely shot. I love any pics of antiquarian books as it is, but the gentle waves of the pages, picked out by the contrast effect is particularly rich in this photo. The shell itself looks luminous, the mother of pearl standing out in a way that one rarely sees in print, on in life.
